We are currently enrolling teens into our three one-week Summer Horsemanship Camps offered for all boys and girls, ages 8 - 10; 11 - 13, and 14 - 16. For more information, go to Current Programs.

God initially began forming AGAPE YOUTH MINISTRY through the hearts and efforts of a few men who had years of law enforcement and youth prison ministry experience. God gave His vision to these men and impressed on them the need to have hands-on programs that could impact the lives of hurting teens with opportunities for life changes through organized Christian-based youth programs. With God's guidance, steps were taken to begin just such a ministry.

AGAPE YOUTH MINISTRY ("AYM") is currently in the process of building the AGAPE YOUTH RANCH ("AYR"), a working horse ranch, in southeast Arizona, nestled in the foothills of the Chiricahua Mountains in Cochise County, between Willcox and Douglas. However, even while the Ranch is still under construction, AYM is offering several HORSEMANSHIP PROGRAMS, such as:

Weekend Youth Barrel Racing and Pole Bending Horsemanship Camps:

Offered periodically throughout the year for those interested in improving their horsemanship skills through barrel racing and pole bending. For more information, go to Current Programs.

Weekend Horsemanship Camps:

Offered periodically to primarily inner city / disadvantaged youngsters through children's organizations, churches, or ministries that offer outreach mentoring programs in their community. For more information, go to Current Programs.

Horsemanship Lessons for Any Age:

AYR's Ranch Foreman, Dan Callister and his wife, Kristel Callister, team up to provide professional horsemanship lessons and horse training. They have been involved in the Professional Horse Industry since 1993, and have a strong background in Barrel horses and Reining horses. Beginner to advance riding lessons are available.
