FUTURE PROGRAMS:

AGAPE YOUTH MINISTRY looks forward to the future when it can offer the following YOUTH PROGRAMS:

"TEEN-TO-TEEN" MENTORING PROGRAM:

This program will pair older teens who have successfully completed the Residential Program with younger at-risk teens to further their progress in the Program.

"BONDAGE TO FREEDOM" MENTORING PROGRAM:

This program will be focused on teens coming out of the juvenile prison system to help them make a good transition into society, develop healthy attitudes that lead to good choices, help them find a vocational direction, and encourage the development of healthy relationships with their peers, as well as a sound understanding of the precepts of the Bible.

AGAPE YOUTH RANCH RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM FOR "AT RISK" TEENS:

The "At-Risk" or troubled teens we seek to help are those exhibiting behavioral problems, such as defiance toward authority, lack of motivation, depression, and similar behaviors. Once in the AGAPE YOUTH RANCH PROGRAM, the teens will learn to live and work on this "working" ranch. They will be taught animal science and horsemanship as they learn to care for and train horses and dogs. Home schooling will help the teens reach their scholastic level and move forward in their education. Bible-based counseling and care from their resident Christian counselors will encourage positive changes in the teens' behavioral and emotional health as they are introduced to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and taught the Word through Bible studies and chapel services.

The difference about the Agape Youth Program is that it will be a full-circle experience. Once the teen graduates from the 12-month residential Ranch program, they will be placed with a Christian family for a period of 3 to 6 months to help with the transition back into their home environment, as they receive guidance in making good choices of friends and activities, while experiencing the Christian family life exemplified by their transitional family.
